Introducing Maya 2.0: Multi-agent builds are here

Maya can now orchestrate multiple specialized AI agents working in parallel — design, frontend, backend, and QA agents all collaborating on your project.

The Next Evolution of Agentic Coding

We are thrilled to announce Maya 2.0, our most significant update since the inception of Ajath. Maya 2.0 introduces a fundamentally new architecture for AI-assisted software development: Multi-agent builds.

Previously, developers using Maya interacted with a single, highly capable agent. While this was sufficient for scaffolding projects or making isolated changes, complex applications require domain-specific expertise. A single agent often struggled to balance the nuances of database schema design with the subtleties of CSS animations.

With Maya 2.0, we have broken down the monolithic agent into a coordinated team of specialized AI agents.

How Multi-Agent Builds Work

When you describe your project or feature to Maya, the Orchestrator Agent takes your request and breaks it down into a comprehensive plan. It then delegates tasks to specialized sub-agents:

  • The Architect Agent: Designs the system architecture, chooses the right database schema, and sets up the project structure.
  • The UI/UX Agent: Focuses entirely on the frontend, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and a polished user experience using modern CSS and React patterns.
  • The Backend Agent: Implements APIs, writes complex business logic, and ensures secure database queries.
  • The QA Agent: Runs in the background, writing tests and validating that the code produced by the other agents actually works together.

These agents don't just work in isolation; they communicate. If the Backend Agent changes an API response, the UI/UX Agent is immediately notified and updates the frontend components accordingly.

Unprecedented Speed and Quality

By parallelizing the development process and assigning specialized tasks to specialized agents, Maya 2.0 delivers unprecedented speed and code quality. In our beta testing, teams building full-stack SaaS applications saw a 400% increase in development velocity compared to Maya 1.0.

Furthermore, the code quality is significantly higher. Because the QA agent is constantly reviewing and testing the code as it is written, the number of bugs introduced during the generation phase has dropped by 80%.

Availability

Maya 2.0 is rolling out to all users starting today. If you're on the Pro or Enterprise plan, you can enable "Multi-Agent Mode" in your project settings right now.

We can't wait to see what you build with a whole team of AI agents at your fingertips.
